Would you tell us about yourself?
My name is Beatrice and I’m 23. I’m a pro athlete based in Milan. I started to practise athletic when I was 8 and now my speciality is 400 metres hurdles. I gradueted in Motor and Sport Activities Science because I wanted my passion became as work. Now I work as a Personal Trainer and running coach. During my experience I undesrstood that there are a lot of important things for a good lifestyle. Then I started to do yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Also I love cook and I believe that a balanced nutriotion is important for improve sportive performance so I often try new healthy recipes.
How did you start running?
During primary school I played football and artistic gymnastics. One day I took part to athletic competitions and I won it. So the day after my mother carried me at trackfield near our home. That day I fell in love with running, and I never stop to do it.
Do you run alone, mostly, or with a club or group?
I run for a female athletic club. I do my training everyday with my coach and my team mate. Also I like run alone especially when I am out of city.
How has running changed you?
Running has formed my personality during my growth. I have learned the meaning of determination, resilience and sacrifice. Go beyond one’s limits every day makes me strong day by day. Running influences my lifestyle and teaches to organize my daily routine.
Do you remember the first moment you felt “like a runner”?
I felt like a runner when I was 12 and I have won a race called “The faster runner” in my city.
Where is your most memorable running route or place would like share with us?
The European Cup for Club in Moscow.
What is your favourite distance?
400 metres hurles.
Would you share us a interesting running story?
In 2012 during the Italian Championship I won my first gold medal. But when I was on the podium a back judge gave me a ban because I have invade the other lane. After that I have thought to drop out of competitions. However I never leave the track and this bad memory has become my strength.
What is your running motivation right now?
To do my personal best over and over again.
If we would like you to use one word or one sentence to represent your style, what would it be?
Running with music: Yes or no? if yes, would you share us one of your favorite running track?
Usually I prefer to run without music. Only sometimes I run with my mp3 and one my favourite song is “All of the Lights” by Kanye West ft. Rihanna and Kid Cudi.

If you have a chance to design your own running apparel, what colour and pattern would you want to represent your running style?
If I could choose my running appeal I would like a simple one without patterns but only my two favourite colours light sea green and slate grey.
