How did you start running?
I decided one day that I was tired of feeling fatigued so quickly after activities. I knew I had to increase my cardio stamina and began running.
Do you run alone, mostly, or with a club or group?
I usually run alone. I love the freedom I feel when I throw on my running sneakers, plug in my favorite tunes and hit the pavement!
How has running changed you?
Running has positively changed my life both physically and mentally. I can feel the increased strength and endurance of my body while allowing my mind to decompress and be free.
Do you remember the first moment you felt “like a runner”?
I felt like a runner the first time I purchased REAL running sneakers that fit my feet perfectly. They allowed my to break down barriers previously holding me back and could increase distance comfortably. Proper gear can make a world of difference. I love my Asics!

My favorite place to run is by the ocean. The smell of the salt air and the breeze from the water keep my mind at peace as I move forward toward my running goals.
What is your favourite distance?
I don't have a favorite distance. I like to challenge myself by always trying to beat my last distance. That helps me stay motivated and increase my distance each time I run!
Would you share us a interesting running story?
A few weeks back I was running near my home when I found a lost dog. He seemed friendly enough, walked over to me and sat down. He had a collar on with dog tags and I noticed he lived not to far from where we were. I asked him if he wanted to "go home", his tail wagged and we ran side by side to his yard. His owners were beyond words happy to see him again.
What is your running motivation right now?
My motivation to run is to increase my stamina and overall health both physically and mentally. I've always been active, however t's easy to make excuses occasionally and be lazy. Now, I use my excuses as a challenge to motivate me to get out there, push myself and work harder.
