Would you tell us about yourself?
I'm Exercise Physiologist, Functional Training Foundations course founder and Chief Bar co-founder. I specialize in functional training, sport-specific strength & conditioning and musculo-skeletal rehabilitation and I'm currently studying post-graduate certificate in Human Nutrition. My biggest passion is trail running and anything running-related and my lifetime dream is to run in the most amazing marathons and ultramarathons around the world. Credentials: Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Sport Scientist (Exercise and Sport Science Australia) Strength and Conditioning Coach Level 2 (Australian Strength and Conditioning Association) Sports Coach Level 1 (Sports Medicine Australia) Accredited Cardiac Scientist Certificates III and IV in Fitness
How did you start running?
I fell in love with running when I first moved to Australia. It's so beautiful here and I used running as an exploring tool. It's much quicker that walking so you can see more in the same amount of time a get to places that aren't accessible by a car?
Do you run alone, mostly, or with a club or group?
Half half. I run with the Run Crew to get my inspo and guidance to the fast sessions (tempo, track, hills). And I love running on trails in my own. It's the best form of active meditation. Sometimes I like to jog with friends instead of sitting at a cafe.
How has running changed you?
Running has helped me to become more calm and patient.
Do you remember the first moment you felt “like a runner”?
When I ran my first half marathon in Sydney in 2010. I wore compression pants for the first time and felt like I was so cool ?
Where is your most memorable running route or place would like share with us?
I love running around the national parks in NSW. The most beautiful run is probably along the coast from Palm Beach to Balmoral. But I also love running from Bondi to Coogee. That's my fave 'urban trail'.
What is your favourite distance?
Would you share us a interesting running story?
I would love to share the story of Emil Zatopek who is a legendary runner from Czech Republic who won 3 gold medals in one olympics. One of them was for a marathon and it was the first time ever he has attempted that distance. He's neber ran a marathon before, not even in training. That's incredible.
What is your running motivation right now?
I want to qualify for the UTMB this year

"Through difficulties to reach the stars" This is a quote by my favorite stoic philosopher Seneca and I have it tattooed on the back of my neck
