Would you tell us about yourself?
Hey, I’m Hanna! I love being in nature and that‘s one of the thousands reasons why I love running.
How did you start running?
The first time I recognized that I could and I love to run was in primary school (I was 8 years old). Since nearly two years I’m searching for new challenges, so I started to train purposefully and to improve my pace. One of my first races was a 13k mud race and it was so much fun!
Do you run alone, mostly, or with a club or group?
Mostly I‘m running for myself. It helps me to clear my mind, for example after a hard day at work.
How has running changed you?
Running has changed my whole life. While running, I could listen to myself and my body. For me, running is a lifestyle which contains much more other parts. Runnercommunities are full of nice and awesome people, so you have to love the runners life!
Do you remember the first moment you felt “like a runner”?
The first moment … uuuugh. Yeah I think during my first injury, so I was only angry by not having the possibility to run :D Being a runner is a blend of having fun, be ambitious, a little bit crazy and disciplined. And that’s the best of it!
Where is your most memorable running route or place would like share with us?
Mostly I love the routes in the woods around my hometown Kaiserslautern. But I really enjoyed my first halfmarathon in Amsterdam. Around the route where a lot of happy and encouraging people who produced an awesome atmosphere. It was like a big big party!
What is your favourite distance?
My favorite distance are 5k races. I love short and intensive trainings. During a 5k, you need to stay completely focused, there is nearly no possibility of compensation.
Would you share us a interesting running story?
While every run, I sample a lot of new impressions! The most interesting story, is the one of my own development during the past years. I like to inspire people around me to earn their goals and to start running to share the joy of this awesome activity. For me it‘s interesting, how running has the ability to improve the awareness of life!
What is your running motivation right now?
My motivation is based on achieving my goals. Spending time in our beautiful nature is also important for me. Running is a great way to explore yourself and it helps to reflecting back to the simple and beautiful things in life.
If we would like you to us one word or one sentence to represent your style, what would it be?
Athletic and colorful.
Running with music: Yes or no? if yes, would you share us one of your favorite running route?
Of course WITH music! It‘s so motivational!! In general, I’m listening to EDM concerts while running. But I think my favorite running route is „Beautiful World“ from Blasterjaxx.
What is your recipes for fitness?
Consistency and being good to yourself. You only have this one body, take care of it!
If you have a chance to design your own running appeals, what colour and pattern would you want to represent your running style?
Mostly colorful and with an eye-catching pattern. Maybe I prefer pink and violet :)
